Description
This is a marvelously wrought vintage silver Moroccan Berber fibula in the Ait Atta motif. It is 3 1/8" (7,95 cm) tall and just under 1 3/8" (3,5 cm) wide. The fibula was made to secure a cape and was originally part of a pair. It is a lovely piece with incised designs and a hole at the finial where it may be suspended as a pendant or may have other beads and decorations attached. It is a traditionally handmade piece that has seen tribal wear.
