This is a lyrically wrought pair of vintage silver Moroccan Berber fibulae. They match at just over 3 1/2" (8,9 cm) tall and just over 1 1/8" (2,85 cm) wide. These fibulae were made to secure a cape. They are splendid pieces with incised designs, notched pins, and holes at the finials where they may be suspended as a pendants or may have other beads and decorations attached. They are traditionally handmade pieces that have seen tribal wear.
