Description

This is a pair of weighty Tuareg Zinder Cross pendants. They measure just under 1 1/2" (3,85 cm) tall, just over 1/2" (1,3 cm) wide, and 1 cm deep. These Zinder Crosses take their name from the city of Zinder in southern Niger. They are a regional version of the Southern Cross motif that is often found in Tuareg jewelry. This pair of pendants is crafted from white metal and features conical finials and incised outer ridges. They are traditionally worn with the multilevel finial pointing down.
