Moroccan Treasures We recently returned from a 5 week trip to Morocco where were traveled to the far North and the far South; these being our favorite places. Southern Morocco is populated mostly by the Tachelhit-speaking Berber tribes. While the Southern regions have various styles of jewelry, all are sumptuous and unique and (historically) can vary greatly from valley to valley. In the South, we search through store after store to find small pieces and fragments for use in jewelry design.
