Description

This is a beautiful example of a Moroccan Berber silver hamsa featuring detailed and deeply incised designs. It measures just over 3 1/4" (8,3 cm) tall and 1 5/8" (4,15 cm) wide. It is a lovely rendition of a hand with blossom at the center of the Judaic star in its palm and incised scrollwork all around. The floral motif is known as the Rose of Essaouira. It also has a sturdy bale and a charming raised "bracelet". It is sure to draw admiration while serving as a symbol of protection. It is a one of a kind, handmade contemporary Moroccan piece that has been given a dark patina for contrast.
