Here is a pair of ANTIQUE SILVER EARRINGS from Yemen. Each earring measures just under 2 5/8” (6,7 cm) long and just over 2 ¼” (5,75 cm) wide. They are a matched pair and made in a very traditional Yemeni style. The Jewish populations living in Yemen were renowned for their silver smithing skills. These earrings are simply gorgeous and have great patina and wear patterns. The ear wires are very thick. These are a wonderful addition to any collection, or would make unique pendants in a necklace. The earrings are high grade silver and are very heavy; they weigh 63.4 grams.
